Student Spirometer

This spirometer offers so little resistance to the movement of air to and from the subject’s lungs that it does not affect the subject’s respiratory movements.

  A general-purpose wedge-type Spirometer with a capacity of 9 liters. It is designed for teaching ‘A’ level, Medical and University classes the principles of Spirometry. It can be used in ascertaining: basal metabolic rate flowing exercise, Vital Capacity Subdivisions of Lung Volume Inspiratory and expiratory reserve volume, effect on ventilation of rebreathing CO2, hyperventilation effect on breathing patterns etc.
